The task was to create a basic touring package including a substantial quantity of theatre drapes and stage drapes, pipe and drape systems and scenic surfaces, to include:

- Black wool serge stage drapes
- BWS lighting
- Video truss borders, legs and headers
- Set backdrop
- Over 25 metres of tab track
- Pipe and drape systems
The basic touring package was specified by Adam Scott, the tour’s production manager, complete with a selection of “get out of trouble” items!
The backdrop consisted of a 40′ x 20′ black wool serge cloth, and a total of five 48ft by 2ft drop lighting and video truss borders. The tabs border was another 48′ wide by 2’6 length, and the 4 legs measured 4ft wide with 25ft drop. Two 6ft x 27ft BWS legs for the front tabs, and the drape picture was completed with two 25′ x 25′ tabs.
The theatre drapes gave the stage clean edges and the versatility of the pipe and drape touring package made the tour possible in venues with such variable dimensions to accommodate the touring set. Cover It Up has supplied many previous projects for Phil McIntyre Entertainment including Dancing on Ice, Peter Kay, Bottom, Chris Rock, Russell Brand, The Mighty Boosh, and not forgetting – notably – a pair of giant 20ft red underpants for one of the Little Britain tours.
