Wool Serge drape
Wool serge is possibly one of the most versatile products that we hold with countless applications including masking, acoustic treatment, tunnels, roofs, dressing rooms, blackout and defining event spaces. The use in so many environments necessitates a huge variety of drapes in stock. The dimensions available are too numerous to list here however drops range from 1’ truss borders to 50’ giants. Widths range from 5’ legs to 40’ wide monsters. see more Wool Serge info
Velvet Velour drape
A stunningly luxurious fabric and used where opulence and grandeur is key in the design. Velour’s use can be further enhanced with creative use of lighting and swags to create incredibly beautiful undulations in the fabric. As with all our stock draping we hold a vast array of colours to include port, plum, black, blue and gold, the list goes on. Often used as a spectacular sweeping entrance or part of a set design we’ve also used velour to cover entire venues to spectacular effect. see more Velvet Velour info
Cover it Up stock trevira in a myriad of colours on the roll and as stock panels that. Trevira is a lightweight option compared to say our velvet or serge stock. We’ve used trevira to cover vast expanses of roof and wall spaces in venues and temporary structures in the UK and Europe.
We often use a combination of stock items and installation ‘off the roll’ to give maximum flexibility in it’s use. Designers might opt to vary the colouration of trevira used as multiple strips or a single block colour to completely transform an event space. see more Trevira info
White Filled Cloth
We’re often asked here at Cover It Up to work with the design team to create projection surfaces. The VT or image needing to fit in really odd spaces, or indeed the sheer scale of the dimensions required are far too expensive for LED technology. We’ve found that filled cloth works very well in this application. White filled cloth is a solid white fabric with a soft ‘waffle’ textured surface. This material also stretches well, so is ideal for crease-free cycs and we’ve also seen the surface follow the contours of set pieces. We have stock cloths on the shelf, some exceptionally large, and our machinists create bespoke items on a regular basis. see more White Filled Cloth info
Star cloth drape
There’s nothing like a bit of starcloth to bring some magic to an event. Simply turning the starcloth on mid event can immediately change the dynamic of a space. We have full colour changing LED’s, pealight and fiber optic depending on your specific requirements. We also work with show LED animation which can take your designs to a different level. Control can be via stand alone controllers or controlled via DMX as part of a complex show call by the lighting operator or indeed a dedicated operator. see more Starcloth info
A selection of scenic and sharkstooth gauze used as transformational surfaces. It’s magical properties has been used in theatres for decades, can be back or front lit to appear either transparent or opaque. The sharkstooth gauze can also be hand painted to add to the creative possibilities. We have a stock of a number of different types of gauzes giving different effects in white, grey and black. As ever any dimension can be produced and we’d be happy to discuss options. see more Gauze info
